In today’s episode, I interview my client Kate. She shares her story with food and weight, why she decided to work with me, what that was like, and how her life is different today.

“Growing up I went on every single diet. By 10 or 11 years old I was aware of what calories were and already thought fat was bad.
When we started working together I was actually tracking macros, weighing myself obsessively and chicken, broccoli and cottage cheese were really my only “safe foods”. I felt like I was on a merry go round I couldn’t get off of.
Now, from working with you, I can be in the same house with peanut butter and ice cream. I can eat bagels and not have to starve myself for the rest of the day. Or, I can have a salad because it sounds good!
I thought I had tried everything, I had been in therapy and tried all the diets, but I hadn’t. This DOES work.
I now see food as ‘just food’.
This all has been so much more than I ever thought.
I am more relaxed, confident in who I am, and can have an actual connection with other people.
