If you think back to your first diet, you probably started it because you felt like something was wrong with how you looked. So hating our body came before the dieting piece. And then for many of us, after years of dieting our body image continued to get worse and our food continued to get more out of control.
Body acceptance does NOT mean giving up. Body acceptance does not mean you stop taking care of yourself. In fact, if may mean for the first time EVER you START taking care of yourself.
